Fans of electronic live music and alternative pop will be given a warm welcome to a small-scale festival with big ambitions after they take a boat trip to the Wadden island Terschelling in the north of Holland. The festival has three stages where artists are programmed who are at the intersection between multiple genres.

The British duo Maribou State is performing with a multi-person band for the occasion, something that we are also used to from Dutch Afrobeat and Funk band Jungle by Night. Fans of deep Indie Electronica will love the live show of Apparat, who, after the enormous success of his collaborative project Moderat, returns with solo work.

Tastemaker MCDE, renowned Rush Hour label boss Antal and British DJ, acid jazz musician and visual artist Mr. Scruff lead an exciting DJ program. View the entire preliminary program on our program page.

eilân takes place this summer, in between woods and dunes and next to a small lake. The ‘island feeling’ is central to the deliberately small-scale festival, which presents a tightly curated and tasteful music program in an idyllic spot on the island. During the festival visitors can enjoy good music, creative programming, a beautiful environment and each other for the duration of four festival days.

You can not get on an island without a boat. Via our partner Rederij Doeksen you can book a boat trip from Harlingen to Terschelling. Two pieces of luggage can be carried on board free of charge, provided they fall within the set dimensions of 85 x 60 x 30 cm (L x W x H). You can also take one transport vehicle (folding bike, bicycle trailer or hand truck) per person. Make your journey more comfortable by booking a pre-arranged tent or bungalow.

There are enough boats for everyone, but departures on specific days and times can fill up.

To Harlingen you get by train, bus or car. There is no parking at eilân, so leave your car in Harlingen. Are you coming with a camper van? Then book your boat trip before 1 May.

Overnight stay

To ensure that we offer the same experience for all visitors, only weekend tickets are sold. Directly adjacent to the cozy festival site are two campsites and a bungalow park which can be booked via this website. The night program also takes place at these campsites.

A place on the campsites is 40 euros per person for four nights. More information about other options for accommodation can be found on the accommodation page.
